Proposed Seating Conversion:
Green Monster Seats

"Construct new seating area with approximately three hundred twelve (312) seats in four rows with standing room for 100 over the Green Monster Wall in left field, including six (6) which are wheelchair accessible. Total square footage proposed + 10,250. Some foundation structures would be placed beneath the City sidewalk. Seats would project over the city sidewalk and partially over Lansdowne Street, air rights in approximately the same space now occupied by the existing Screen over the Wall. (No anticipated impact to pedestrians or traffic beyond construction period.) In order to permit the installation of foundations and seating above Lansdowne Street application is hereby made to the BRA to designate the site as a Demonstration Project pursuant to MGL C.121B Section 46 (f). Additional lighting below the seats would be included in the plans to ensure adequate lighting for Lansdowne Street pedestrians."
